Repent and be baptized may sound more like old time religion than good news today. But that’s the way Mark’s action-driven Gospel begins. From Mark 1.1-15 today we listen afresh to the good news of the kingdom, that we can turn back to the God who has turned toward us and immerse ourselves in his love for us.
