1 Peter 5.5-11 begins by affirming our struggles, our cares and anxieties, our suffering, and even our sense that there’s an enemy out to get us. But the passage ends with great confidence in the God of all grace who will accomplish in us everything we need to be strong and secure. The God who puts the lonely into families will connect us into his family, restoring the threads of connection and relationship between us. We end today with a surprising story of how God has done exactly that in our community this year.
