We’re continuing our series The Stories We Tell Ourselves, in which we survey stories from scripture that show us who God is, who we are, and how to engage the world. This morning we read The Crucifixion from Mark 15.25-39. Jesus is the revelation of God superior to and supreme over all other revelations, and the crucifixion is the place where that revelation comes into sharpest focus. The crucifixion shows us the character of God and the way of victory, as well as the pattern for our lives.
